[118.26] Death without dying

A third major brush with death in an august 2011 uncovered a new perspective in me; I had known since 2004's tsunami of events that I would write letters to you, and when I am gone, may these letters remain to inspire and guide you on your way home to your heart. We had wonderful, amazing and awesome times together. We've laughed and cried, played and spoke of dreams together.

Someday, I intend to explore the Universe beyond this star and this body cannot be used there. You asked if you could come with me on my travels. I smiled and replied - You could, in good time after you've lived and loved, and we could meet again somewhere out there. You were just beginning to map your 5-year-old mind and I've been mapping mine for a bit longer. Things aren't always what they appear to be. People don't talk about death because they learned to be afraid of change, and this is a big change. No one chooses to die, not even that little flower that got squashed or animal that got eaten. They were forced to.

All the time spent in schools to study the material world now, and the human experiments prolonging life as if it were an achievement to live one more day. It could be amazing, if lived out gracefully, kindly, lovingly. To make the final life change with a smile on our faces, painlessly, peacefully.

Thank you, friend, for answering some really tough questions that I shall leave behind. The pieces of puzzle that remain behind of a life spent behind books and smiles and tea parties under the stars. I continue to play among the quarks and the stars. Someday, we could play together again.
